Warranty

Last updated: 17/07/2026

This Warranty is given by Leeds Plywood & Doors Limited, trading as Oti ("we", "us", "our"), of Midland Road, Hunslet, Leeds, LS10 2RJ. It applies to Oti products purchased new from Oti or an authorised retailer, for delivery within the United Kingdom.

This Warranty is provided free of charge, in addition to your statutory rights.

1. Standard Warranty

All eligible Oti products are covered by a 12-month Standard Warranty from the date of delivery. This covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship arising during normal domestic use.

2. Extended Warranty

Eligible products can be extended from 1 year to 3 years, free of charge, by registering the product on the Oti website within 30 days of purchase. Proof of purchase is required.

3. What Is Covered

Manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship arising during normal domestic use.

4. What Is Not Covered

  • Normal wear and tear.

  • Cosmetic damage occurring after delivery.

  • Misuse, abuse, neglect or accidental damage.

  • Damage caused by incorrect assembly, or by failure to follow care instructions. This does not include manufacturing defects that are simply discovered during assembly — these remain covered.

  • Commercial or rental use.

  • Modifications or repairs by unauthorised persons.

  • Environmental damage, including water, excessive heat or sunlight.

5. How We Resolve Warranty Claims

If a valid claim is accepted under this Warranty, we will determine the most appropriate resolution based on the nature of the fault, the age of the product and the availability of replacement parts. This may include:

  • supplying replacement components or spare parts;

  • repairing the product where practical;

  • replacing the affected product with the same model;

  • providing a replacement of equivalent specification where the original is no longer available; or

  • offering a full or partial credit or refund, where we consider this the most appropriate solution.

For claims made under this Warranty, the choice between these options is ours to make. This does not affect your statutory rights, which you can rely on separately at any time — see section 9.

6. Return and Collection Costs

Where a claim under this Warranty is accepted, we will cover the reasonable cost of returning or collecting the affected item for assessment or repair.

7. Making a Claim

Please contact us at customerservice@oti.co.uk with your proof of purchase, order number, a description of the issue and photographs of the fault. We aim to acknowledge your claim within 5 working days.

8. If You're Unhappy With Our Decision

If you disagree with how a warranty claim has been handled, please see our Complaints Policy for how to escalate this, including your options for independent dispute resolution.

9. Statutory Rights

Nothing in this document affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or other applicable consumer protection legislation.
